Job Summary:

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated, experienced, and committed leadership team that will aggressively grow the company. The Senior Manager of Human Resources Operations is a highly visible, high impact position that will directly contribute to the growth of the business.

Specific Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a consultant to managers regarding policies and procedures.
  • Create detailed reports on HR costs.
  • Recommend new software to address employee needs such as performance review tools.
  • Employee policy, process, procedure, and tool development.
  • Monitor internal HR systems and databases including data mining, metrics and reporting, scorecard/dashboard development.
  • Process biweekly payroll and related tasks for all US-based employees.
  • Work collaboratively with Company International Payroll Administrator.
  • Direct and address all employee relations issues with management or thru HR as appropriate (i.e., perform investigations, documentation, etc.)

Education or Formal Training Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related degree.
  • Master of Business Administration degree preferred.
  • SHRM/HRCI certification and/or other relevant/Payroll certifications preferrable
  • 3+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience.
  • 3+ years of HRIS experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous industry experience in medical device, life sciences, or related field highly preferred.
  • Experience with State and Local tax filing.
  • Experience with processing payroll.
  • Must have strong leadership, maturity, professional judgement, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically and tactically.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong benefits and payroll administration experience to manage relationship with 3rd party vendors.
  • Experience with various Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); preferably Paylocity and/or SAP.
  • Employee policy, process, procedure, and tool development.
  • Monitor internal HR systems and databases including data mining, metrics and reporting, scorecard/dashboard development.
  • HR compliance/audit knowledge.
  • HR projects/initiatives experience (i.e., employee surveys, employee engagement/well-being programs, DEI programs).
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent collaborative skills.
