Job Summary:

This position is responsible for developing processes and tools to drive efficiency and best practices cross departmentally within the sales organization.

Specific Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Use knowledge of business objectives, strategies, and needs to identify opportunities where data can be leveraged to achieve the desired business benefit
  • Develop and maintain appropriate field reporting and analysis tools to support best practices cross-departmentally
  • Create dashboards and develops tools to facilitate both commercial operations and strategic analysis
  • Develop and maintain appropriate reports and analysis tools to be used by field organization and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare, report, and analyze monthly sales data reports
  • Provide technical expertise for enterprise systems and sales reporting software
  • Drive continuous development of the CRM system in close coordination with the commercial managers
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new sales talent
  • Customer communication working with sales on Purchase Order obtainment and price discrepancies
  • Assist in developing sales strategy and KPI measurements

Desired Education or Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a sales operations, sales, or similar role
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered

Qualifications Required:  (knowledge, skills, abilities, initiative, judgment, etc.)

  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales reporting and analysis tools
  • Highly motivated, self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints
  • Understands the overall business environment of the orthopedic industry
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience creating Excel documents: spreadsheets, formulas, charts, graphs, and functions
  • Microsoft Office Suite as well as sales reporting software preferred (SAP, Access, Business Objects, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential

  • This position requires the incumbent to regularly utilize written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and speaking clearly and concisely
  • This position requires the incumbent to experience periods of prolonged sitting and to occasionally stand, walk, carry items, climb, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs
  • This position requires the incumbent to operate office equipment such as telephones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and to grasp objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination
  • Minimal supervision. A wide degree of latitude is expected. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • This position will be for 2nd shift Wed-Sunday.

Travel Requirement: Up to 20%

Salary Range: $130,000-$145,000/year
