Job Summary:

The Sales Operations Specialist supports functions essential to sales force productivity. This includes but is not limited to assisting in projects related to planning, reporting, forecasting, process optimization, program management, etc. This position will report to the Director of Sales operations and works closely with the US sales leadership team to ensure appropriate objectives are aligned and properly supported.

Specific Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytics and guidance to sales leadership to assist in business planning and strategy.
  • Assist in maintaining internal database systems, including sales channel coverage and optimization territory mapping.
  • Review and communicate key performance indicators to area sales teams.
  • Assist in the management of sales incentive programs to increase revenue such as fellowship tracking, medical education, and training.
  • Maintain sales pipeline and lead procurement process thru HubSpot(CRM).
  • Monitor programs and success measures for the direct sales representative team (DSR).
  • Manage data sets for targeting, channel development, etc.
  • Proficient in technologies that assist the sales process including software tools, aps, and data management. (CRM, LMS).
  • Interacts and works closely with other departments, such as, Marketing, Finance and Operations to ensure adequate support to the sales and marketing functions.
  • Implement strategies and administrative processes to ensure accurate performance and sales incentive payouts.
  • Collaborate with the business intelligence team to ensure efficient integration between sales platforms and the rest of the commercial data systems to provide accurate, efficient, and reliable data exchange.
  • Monitor direct sales and distributor sales performance trends.

Key Goals:

  • Review key business intelligence, metrics and manage the routing of data between systems
  • Timely delivery of prioritized initiatives.
  • Establish a supportive role within the overall sales organization.
  • Assist Sales leadership with the planning of sales meetings.

Education or Formal Training Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or adjacent fields.

Qualifications Required: (knowledge, skills, abilities, initiative, judgment, etc.)

  • 2+ years working specifically in a sales operations and/or equivalent technology role.
  • 3+ years working in sales in the medical space; with a preference for experience in the spine/neuro market.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency, especially in MS Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Tables,
  • Formulas, Charts, etc.) creating reports and databases.
  • Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with exceptional
  • organizational and time management skills.
