Job Summary:

The Field Inventory Lead is responsible for monitoring inventory consigned to Field Sales Distributors and Hospitals and ensuring Company Policies & Procedures are being followed related to consigned Inventory.
The Field Inventory Lead position is a customer-facing role that will interact with Hospital and Distributor Customers to assist the Field Auditors on inventory discrepancies and reconciliations. You will assist the Auditors by running reports, researching discrepancies and performing inventory transactions in SAP. Occasional travel to assist in large audits may be required.
The Field Inventory Lead will be focused on Inventory Management: sending monthly inventory reports to all Distributors, sending communications regarding expiring product, issuing RMAs, and following up on unreturned inventory. You will also be cross-trained in specific areas to support the Customer Service Team as needed, especially at month-end.
You will be building productive, collaborative relationships with our customers through effective and efficient communications related to their inventory. You will be a valued member of the Customer Service Team and will contribute to our excellent service standards with our customers.

Specific Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Field Auditors with inventory reconciliations with Consignment Customers and assist in reconciliations, including inventory transfers, returns, and write off’s
  • Monitor field inventory consigned to Sales Team, Distributors, and Hospitals and administer Company policy and procedures for field inventory management and escalate issues as necessary
  • Prepare and Distribute Monthly Customer inventory reports
  • Review, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies and disputes related to pending and processed Orders to maintain accurate inventory usage records and allow Orders to be processed and revenue recognized
  • Identify and communicate with Consignment Customers holding expiring lots to coordinate the return or exchange
  • Perform other Customer Service-related duties as assigned

Education or Formal Training Required:

  • Experience with Inventory Management preferred: full cycle audit and reconciliation process, from initial inventory request to reconciliation in ERP system, Issue RMAs, and preforming inventory transfers
  • 1-3 years Customer Service experience
  • Ability to solve lot/batch related issues with live orders
  • Experience with ERP systems/SAP preferred
  • Account and Customer management experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Medical Device products a plus

  • Moderate noise (Business office adjacent to Warehouse with computers, phones, printers, coworkers Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required

Some travel required- ability to drive to sites is required.

Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000 depending on experience
